Put more pink in all your sunsets
Painted blue in your gray storm clouds
Begged the rainbows to stay longer
Kept the moon where you could find it
Made the nighttime always peaceful
Let you fly in all your dreams

Filled your yard with tiny puppies
Let you hold the brand new babies
Blown the dust off all your sweet days
Sang a song that made you boogie

Took your fear and burned it
Tossed the embers to the sky
Filled the night with shiny planets
Because you love them

You gave her the best medicine, although your humor is more like chemo. (thus Dad's hair loss) She would giggle and giggle and giggle. Sometimes she laughed so hard she floated up like in Mary Poppins. You WERE her puppy and baby and shiny planet. Your humor out toxiced her toxins.
